Ariel Atom 3r - x/10

A smooth & high-revving engine that begs the driver to push the fly-by-wire throttle pedal all the way to the floor to hear the intoxicating whine of the supercharger.  This engine is also equally happy taking a leisurely drive through town with careful thought having been put into the engine mapping to ensure drivability in many situations.

From the ground up the Ariel Atom 3R 2.0 will not disappoint as it has head turning good looks, in addition to performance options carefully selected for true drivers.

This limited edition is cloaked with select hand laid carbon fiber panels that are finished with a deep clear coating to ensure the beauty of each woven fiber is visible.  Carbon will be seen on the Bonnet, Airbox, as well as the signature intake snorkel while the sticky performance tires are covered with the same classic carbon fiber weave.  A touch of Carbon fiber will also greet the driver as they view the full digital dash display unit.

A special black metallic finish will cover the signature exo-skeleton chassis tubes of the Ariel Atom 3R 2.0 helping to accentuate the smooth curves of the tubular steel structure.  Tinted side panels will be utilized on all Ariel Atom 3R 2.0 making for a comfortable seating area for driver and passenger as they are tucked behind the laminated safety glass windscreen.

Ariel atom - special edition - 1/1

The result of a collaboration between TMI and Honda Performance Development to create one of the most hardcore track-only Atoms yet, using battle-tested HPD parts to increase power.

Its 275-hp 2.4-liter Honda K24 four-cylinder is similar in spec to the engines found in the Civic Si racers that compete the Continental SportsCar Challenge and SCCA World Challenge series. It's about 25 hp down on supercharged Atoms, but it's a significant increase over the standard Atom 3. It also screams to 8000 rpm and retains the purity of a naturally aspirated race engine. The six-speed close-ratio gearbox is also a product of HPD and comes with a limited-slip differential. A sequential Sadev gearbox is optional.

Ariel Atom 500 (V8) - x/20

Introduced in February 2008, the Ariel Atom 500 features a 500 horsepower 3.0 litre John Hartley-designed V8 engine, carbon fiber body panels and aerofoils, chromoly aerofoil wishbones, an integrated function steering wheel, Alcon four-piston brake calipers, and Dymag magnesium wheels. The engine weighs 90 kg (198 lb) and is coupled to a SADEV six-speed sequential gearbox to cope with the increased power over the Honda unit. During the development process the RS performance engine was replaced by a unit prepared by Hartley Enterprises giving the final production version of the 550 kg (1,213 lb) car 909 bhp/tonne.

On 23 January 2011, the Atom 500 set the lap record around the Top Gear test Track, with a time of 1:15.1, making it the fastest road-legal car to go around the track - a record that stood for just over two years.

20 total units were produced and sold for the world market.
